Indonesian authorities said that the recent 6.9-magnitude earthquake caused $342 million worth of damage on the island of Lombok, Reuters reported. Sutopo Nugroho, spokesman at Indonesia’s National Disaster Mitigation Agency, said that the quake damaged public infrastructure and residential homes. The quake struck the island on Aug. 5.
