Irish airline Ryanair P.L.C. was forced to cancel 400 flights on Aug. 10 after pilots across Europe staged a 24-hour strike for better pay and working conditions, France24 reported citing media sources. Ryanair canceled nearly 20% of its flights after pilots in Ireland, Germany, Belgium, Sweden and the Netherlands walked off the job. The strikes caused 250 flights to be scrapped at 10 airports across Germany.
