The CIIA  are happy to announce that Christina Rivers is the first CIIA scholarship recipient  for the 2016/17 academic year. Christina is majoring for a degree in Actuarial Science, at York University in Toronto Canada where she is currently scheduled to graduate in June of 2020. Christina is a 2013 graduate of Clifton Hunter High School in the Cayman Islands, and also completed an Associate’s degree in Accounting in 2016 at UCCI, prior to heading overseas to complete her Bachelor’s degree.

The CIIA scholarship in conjunction with the Cayman Islands Government Scholarship, will allow for Christina to have full funding for her degree over the 4-year period.

Closing date for applicants to apply for the 2017/18 academic year is January 31^st , 2017.  Details can be found on the CIIA and Cayman Islands Government Overseas Scholarship web pages.
