BODILY INJURY LIABILITY

Pays when an Insured person is legally liable for bodily injury or death caused by your vehicle. This coverage also pays for your legal defense if you are sued.

ASSIGNMENT

1.Transfer of a right. 2. The document making the transfer of a right. The right transferred may be an interest in the subject-matter of insurance, in the contract of insurance, or in policy moneys due to the insured.

ACT OF GOD

Events caused by forces of nature, without human intervention, and not preventable by reasonable precautions. Examples: flood, hurricane, earthquake.

CASH IN TRANSIT

The insurance of cash and/or bank notes in transit.

BODILY INJURY

Term used in Auto and Casualty policies meaning physical injury, including sickness, disease, mental injury, shock or death.

ARSON

The willful and malicious burning of property.

CARRIER

Ship owner, Vehicle-Owner or other person who carries goods and is responsible for their safety.

BOAT

A small craft or pleasure vessel.

APPURTENANT STRUCTURES

Buildings or structures other than the Insured’s residential dwelling. (i.e., garage, shed, etc.)

CLAIMANT

The person suffering the loss who presents the claim.
